Handball

Handball

Irish handball is a fast-paced ball sport where players hit a small hard ball with their hand against a wall, trying to make it impossible for their opponent to return the shot.

What is Handball

Internationally, it’s sometimes called Gaelic handball to distinguish it from American or European handball. It is fast-paced, fun, and suitable for players of all abilities. Played one-on-one (singles) or two-on-two (doubles) Handball is played on dedicated handball courts, either indoors in fully enclosed courts or outdoors against a single solid wall
