Hurling and Camogie are Ireland’s traditional Gaelic stick-and-ball sports. Combining skill, speed, and teamwork in a fast-paced and exciting game.
Hurling is played with a stick called a “hurley” and a ball called a “sliotar”. Players score by sending the sliotar over the opponent’s crossbar or into the net. It’s fast, fun, and suitable for all levels.
Camogie is the female equivalent of Hurling, with the same rules and excitement. Women of all skill levels are welcome to train, develop skills, and play matches. It’s a fantastic way to enjoy Gaelic games in a friendly, supportive environment.
We meet twice a week during the season at SV Gartenstadt Trudering:
Beginners are welcome and equipment can be provided.
